School's out!

School's out!
I'm happy to just sit here and do nothing, just as long as I don't have school.
:D
Smile!
More smiles!
Smiley-smiley-smiley faces!

Yay!

Ah, yes. Let's talk about instagram, shall we?
Firstly, my instagram is bakingarabella.
Secondly, Cammie, you should get an account.
Third, I think it's really strange that people like to post many, many, many pictures of themselves.

Like, really? Unless you want to keep a record of how you grow, we don't really want to look at picture after picture of you.

Okay, that's it for today.
Except I do have to mention that Dec 21, 2012 is coming soon.
Can't wait.

lol!

School

Hi guys,

Now I have a completely different opinion on school. From one point of view, the end of a semester can be horrible and supper stressful, but from another point of view school is the best thing ever. You get to meet new people, and friends that you might not have ever met if you didn't have school. School can be completely horrible, yet awesome at the same time. I mean you have a lot of work that can sometimes be overwhelming, but you also have friends and crushes both of which make you look forward to it. It smart in a way that there is that aspect to it, or else no one at all would want to go to school at all. So although it can sometimes be extremely annoying and excruciating we all look forward to it during the summer. And everyone likes school at least a little sometimes.

School?

I hate school.

I'll elaborate further in another post, but I'm so glad the holidays are coming soon.

Because I hate school.
I hate it.
There is no convincing me.

And I'm mad.

I'm pretty sure if the holidays weren't coming, I might run into school with a hammer and break everything.
But the holidays are coming. Thanks. Saved me from vandalism. :D

BTW, Cammie, what do you think about this topic?

Christmas Door Decorations

Our school is having a Christmas door decorating contest. I know its supposed to be fun, but they gave us about 3 days of notice and my PCG (like a homeroom, first class of the day) has done squat for this. I already drew a Christmas tree, and a "Happy Holidays" sign. You can be expecting pictures when its complete, but right now it (like this blog) seems to just be a way for me to procrastinate. Oh well, this is fun though and so is drawing so I don't care. Please follow our blog and thanks for reading!

Procrastination

So, it's 6:00 and I'm supposed to have finished both my maths homework and some of my band recording, and I started neither of them. I feel so terrible, but I'm so, so tired!
And it seems like we blog every day, and I'm pretty sure that's too often, but it's not like we're actually aiming for an audience, so whatever.
I'm pretty happy though, because one of my teachers canceled an assignment that was supposed to be due on Monday, which he told us about today.

So here's a list of everything I have to do today:
  1. Finish my gym workbook (30 min)
  2. Band recording (45?)
  3. Piano (30)
  4. SS, Sci, LA studying (1:00)
  5. Maths (30)
BTW, about number 4. I have three summative assessments tomorrow, in a row (well, there's lunch between Social Studies and LA, but still.

I really need to stop procrastinating, but while I'm on this topic, watch this video about procrastination:
I also have to clarify that I am NOT this person, I just like his videos.

The End Is Near

Sleigh bells ring...
are you listening?

Have you heard? The world is supposed to be ending either today, Dec 21, Dec 22, or Dec 23.
In my opinion, this is absolute rubbish. I'm not going to quote the Bible here, but I absolutely sure the world isn't going to end, at least today.
I mean, the skies still look normal *glances up at the sky nervously*

If we manage to survive today, I'll probably post on Dec 21, 22, and 23.

About this. Again.

Holidays-Cammie

The end is near, finally!

End of sememsters are the worst; thousands of tests, millions of assignments and a surples of projects.  Everyone is counting down for Christmas, a lot of days done only 5 1/2 more days of school to go. But in those 5 1/2 days there are almost 10 tests and assignments and projects! Christmas vacation come on, nine more days than I fly to the U.S. Count downs commence, calendar set. Now come on vacation, time speed up. Skip the next days and just think about the Holidays.

Holidays here we come!

Rant Post About School-Elly

Today's post is going to be about school.

There is not much use for school. All it does is cram facts into brains of children, then teach them that they are never going to have fun again. Until they're retired.

as explained perfectly by this video. I agree with most everything in this video- that when you're little, you can have hobbies, but slowly you have no time for them, and only when you get retired will you finally be able to do your hobbies again.

I mean, right now, all students are either making homework a higher priority than sleep, like I am, or not caring at all about schoolwork.

Honour roll seems like one of the most important things now, and that's not good. I agree with giving awards for people that get good grades/have good work habits, but it's really stressing some of us out.

Also, really? Two maths groups? Academic teams? Come on, you're splitting up groups of friends. Although that's exactly what you did when you separated us into houses. (I don't mind the houses, though)
Right now, I only get to eat lunch with my other friends (I have friends in my maths group as well) every six days.

School can be fun, but please, please, please treat us more like humans.
We are not robots that can remember/do everything perfectly.

Elly
